Tulasi Yadati graduated from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India with specialization in genetics and microbiology in 2010. Later she completed the Level-II certification in Protein modelling and rational drug designing from GVK Biocampus and Accelyrs. In 2013, she obtained a Master of Science degree from the department of Animal Biotechnology, University of Hyderabad, India. Her senior year project was focused on characterizing the three-dimensional organization of Whey acidic protein (Wap) gene locus in mouse mammary epithelial cells.
She was awarded the prestigious INSPIRE-Junior Research Fellowship from the department of Science and Technology, India in 2013 which allowed her to pursue research studies in the laboratory of prof. Aparna Dutta Gupta for a period of two years where she was engaged in investigating the functional role of Hexamerin proteins in the rice moth morphogenesis.
Since July 2017 she joins the group of prof. Ronit Shiri-Sverdlov for her doctoral studies at Maastricht University.
