Contribution to UM study programmes

Staff members of Genetics and Cell Biology contribute to a wide variety of the Maastricht University study programmes.

Photo: Joey RobertsThe various departments and research groups offer regular training internships for undergraduate and graduate students. As part of the curriculum, specific projects are advertised in the FHML database. External students and UM students with a specific research interest are welcome to contact the individual group leaders.

PhD training programmes

Genetics and Cell Biology hosts a multitude of PhD students each under supervision of their respective research group leader and professor. Individual staff is affiliated with one of the Maastricht-based research schools (CARIM, GROW, NUTRIM and CAPHRI), which further organise the PhD training programmes.

Short and long training courses

Complex Genetics and Epidemiology offers a MSc in Epidemiology, post-graduate training including short courses on Systematic Reviewing and a variety of PhD opportunities.
